Franklen Poole, born and raised in Washington DC, started as a musician in his fathers church playing bass and drums. Franklen’s love for music lead him to venture into secular music. He started playing for:

magic touch, funk festival Led by Johnnell Gray, former member of the legendary black heat band.

Fancy color, led by Dave Panzer, former guitarist for Wilson Pickett.

 

Franklen Left the DC area in 1993 to spread his wings and master his craft and landed in Poconos where he played for Byrd Pressley at Caesars resort.

And became lead singer for Harold Wenley’s, Clovers a smooth male quartet with charismatic moves. In, 1999 Franklyn returned to his church roots and started playing for the worship band at Pocono community church as well as a few churches in the Pocono area. Franklen’s 50 year career has taken him all over the United States.
